You can also access Bridgely from a tablet or a computer. We want connecting on Bridgely to be comfortable for everyone.

Nothing right now.  When your child’s Cause Community is live on Bridgely we’ll send you an email with an easy-to-follow link and instructions.

If you sponsored your child before we were using Bridgely, you will receive an email from OneChild with a link that will connect you directly with your sponsored child/children in Bridgely. When you click the link, you will set up your profile, confirm that you see your sponsored child, and re-enter your payment method in the new platform. Then you will be able to send your first message to your sponsored child!

We’re putting the final touches on the Cause Communities and making sure that all our Hope Centers are ready to go. You’ll receive an email with a link when your child’s Cause Community is ready.

We are not able to transfer sponsors’ payment information from our old processing system to the new system used on Bridgely. That’s why we are asking you to enter it yourself. You also have the opportunity to change your payment method at this time if you like.

No, all communications will now go through Bridgely. Not only does this allow you and your child a richer connection through photos, videos and messages; it saves the cost of shipping letters, meaning more of every dollar goes to the Hope Center serving your child.

You can manage your payment options, sponsorships, and giving directly through your profile on the Bridgely app. Look for the profile icon in the lower right corner of the app. If you added a photo to your profile, you will see it in that small circle.

In most cases, you can send a financial gift to your child or child’s family directly from the Bridgely app. Birthday giving will be enabled 30 days before and after your child’s birthday.

In certain areas, the local partner in your child’s community may decide not to enable gifts to children due to cultural sensitivities that arise from some children receiving extra gifts while others do not. In those cases, you would not be able to send a gift.

Because of shipping and customs costs (as well as lack of security in some places) sending material items is not an option. It might cost the Hope Center many times the value of the gift just to get it out of customs.

To build a better sponsorship experience for both sponsors and children, to create genuine community between sponsors and Frontline Child Champions serving the children, and to free up more money for the Hope Centers serving kids.

Safety is a top priority. Children are not logged onto the app. Instead, the Community Facilitator is there to receive and share communications between sponsors and children. And every message in the Cause Community is public, to help ensure a safe, respectful community.

Moving to an online platform saves the cost of processing, translating, and shipping letters, as well as other backend processes. Bridgely frees up more of every dollar to go directly to the Hope Centers serving the kids.

Yes! Anyone is welcome to join as many Cause Communities as they like. Search by country or browse all communities. You’ll be able to post and reply to posts and support any campaigns the community may create for special projects.

Yes! In every Cause Community you can see the children from that community who are waiting for a sponsor, and you can sponsor directly from the app.
