As you know, here at The Father’s House we love to help others reach their God-given potential. Today we have the opportunity to help children in poverty reach their potential by partnering with OneChild.
Like us, OneChild believes that God has a purpose for everyone, and as we “live for the bigger picture”, we can help others discover that purpose. For children in poverty, it is hard for them to see beyond their immediate circumstance. Through our partnership with OneChild, we can help children discover that bigger picture and maybe catch a glimpse of what God has in store for their lives. OneChild approaches their ministry to children around the world by looking for like-hearted people who can help release a child from extreme poverty through sponsorship and help them reach that God-ordained potential.
I’m excited that The Father’s House is able to partner with OneChild because sponsorship makes a tremendous difference in the life of a child. It is a ministry of presence and partnership – because of your help, a child can receive educational support, nutritious meals, medical care, and a safe place to learn and grow. OneChild’s projects are hosted by the local church so this child will also learn about Jesus and have a tangible reminder of God’s love through your sponsorship.

If the church is strong in a poverty-stricken community, we know that we can effectively help the children living there. A strong local church partner is one of our prerequisites for ministry. And that ministry isn’t possible without the support of the church in the U.S.

Our accountability to our donors is one of our highest priorities. Our goal is to use the funds entrusted to us as wise stewards. To do this requires continued monitoring of our fund distribution.
