As you know, here at Bayside Community Church we exist to help others reach their God-given potential.
A few years ago, a missionary friend of mine told me about a ministry to children in impoverished countries. He saw firsthand how OneChild’s program helped develop young God-fearing leaders intent on changing their communities and world.
Like us, OneChild believes that God has a purpose for everyone, and they approach their ministry to children around the world in the same way. They look for like-hearted people who can help release a child from extreme poverty through sponsorship.
I’m excited that Bayside Community Church is able to partner with OneChild because sponsorship makes a tremendous difference in the life of a child. It is a ministry of presence and partnership – because of your help, this child can receive educational support, nutritious snacks, and a safe place to learn and grow. Our vision for the church is global: The body of Christ growing, strong, united. If the church is strong in a poverty-stricken community, we know that we can effectively help the children living there. A strong local church partner is one of our prerequisites for ministry. And that ministry isn’t possible without the support of the church in the U.S.

We are accountable to the children we serve AND to our donors.
Our accountability to our donors is one of our highest priorities. Our goal is to use the funds entrusted to us as wise stewards. To do this requires continued monitoring of our fund distribution. OneChild is also a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)
