We’ve found a new and exciting way to demonstrate over-the-top crazy kind of love through the work of OneChild, a ministry that brings hope, truth, life, love and mercy to 40,000 children living in poverty around the world. OneChild equips these children to reach their God-given potential by creating opportunities for transformational development in spirit, mind and body.
Like us, OneChild believes God has a purpose for everyone and they approach their ministry to children around the world in the same way. They look for like-hearted people who are willing to change the world for one child through sponsorship.
We’re excited that Grace Church is able to partner with OneChild because sponsorship is the perfect opportunity to make a lasting impact on the life of a child. With your help, a child can receive nutritional support, medical aid, educational assistance and lasting hope in Jesus Christ.
I encourage you to prayerfully consider sponsoring a child. Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ and change the world together!
Senior Pastors, Grace Church
Our vision for the church is global: The body of Christ growing, strong, united. If the church is strong in a poverty-stricken community, we know that we can effectively help the children living there. A strong local church partner is one of our prerequisites for ministry. And that ministry isn’t possible without the support of the church in the U.S.
OneChild sponsors provide encouragement, love and support to children living in poverty. And they empower an entire community of caring individuals who walk alongside those children as they grow. Through that community, sponsorship provides the resources and opportunities children need to rise above their circumstances and reach their potential in Christ. In fact, recent research demonstrates that child sponsorship is one of the most effective ways to combat global poverty. There’s real power in one person reaching out to one child through community—power that changes both lives!
Our accountability to our donors is one of our highest priorities. Our goal is to use the funds entrusted to us as wise stewards. To do this requires continued monitoring of our fund distribution. OneChild is also a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)
