At Connect Church we say that we are all about faith, family and friends.
We actively support a carefully targeted set of local, national and international organizations doing great work to help people, and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
One of these international missions is our very own Metrowest Caribbean Mission, and we have a new, exciting — and very personal — way for you and your family to be involved!
We at Connect have partnered with OneChild an international organization that brings hope, truth, life, love and mercy to 40,000 children living in poverty around the world. OneChild equips these children to reach their God-given potential by creating opportunities for transformational development of the spirit, mind and body, through their monthly child sponsorship program.
Here’s the amazing, personal part: Connect’s new partnership with OneChild has created an incredibly unique opportunity for our Connect family to sponsor children all in the same village in the Dominican Republic! Not only can your small monthly investment make a lasting impact in the life of a child, but your child will know other children being sponsored by people here at Connect! This is unlike anything I’ve ever heard of in “the business” of child sponsorship!
With your help, a child in our village on the north coast of the Dominican Republic can receive nutritional support, medical aid, educational assistance and lasting hope in Jesus Christ.
I encourage you to prayerfully consider sponsoring a child through our partnership with OneChild. Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ and change the world together!

Children’s Best Hope: A Strong Church
Our vision for the church is global: The body of Christ growing, strong, united. If the church is strong in a poverty-stricken community, we know that we can effectively help the children living there. A strong local church partner is one of our prerequisites for ministry. And that ministry isn’t possible without the support of the church in the U.S.
We’re building a
community of hope.
OneChild sponsors provide encouragement, love and support to children living in poverty. And they empower an entire community of caring individuals who walk alongside those children as they grow. Through that community, sponsorship provides the resources and opportunities children need to rise above their circumstances and reach their potential in Christ. In fact, recent research demonstrates that child sponsorship is one of the most effective ways to combat global poverty. There’s real power in one person reaching out to one child through community—power that changes both lives!
Sponsorship with OneChild helps children grow in…
Your child has the opportunity to learn about God and His purpose for their life.
Your child gets help with their studies and is taught problem-solving, leadership, literacy, and life skills.
Your child is provided nutritious food and supplements and has access to medical check-ups and immunizations to fight common diseases.
Your child is encouraged to socialize with others and receives instruction in sports, music, and drama.

We are accountable to the children we serve AND to our donors.
Our accountability to our donors is one of our highest priorities. Our goal is to use the funds entrusted to us as wise stewards. To do this requires continued monitoring of our fund distribution.
