Our mission at City Church has always been to see people changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are passionate about taking our faith outside the four walls of the church and into places where people need to hear the good news.
We are entering our fifth year of partnership with OneChild, a ministry that brings hope, truth, life, love, and mercy to 40,000 children living in poverty around the world. OneChild equips these children to reach their God-given potential by creating opportunities for transformational development: spirit, mind, and body.
By locking arms with OneChild and our sister church, Iglesia de Dios in Choluteca, Honduras, we have developed a strategy that will help an entire city and community be reached with the gospel. Last year, because of your generosity, we finished Phase 1 of a new facility with brand new classrooms, restrooms, and a kitchen. Phase 2 will soon be under development that will provide a medical clinic to reach a community where most people can’t afford basic medical care. By serving the people of Choluteca, the door will open for the gospel to go forth.

Our vision for the church is global: The body of Christ growing, strong, united. If the church is strong in a poverty-stricken community, we know that we can effectively help the children living there. A strong local church partner is one of our prerequisites for ministry. And that ministry isn’t possible without the support of the church in the U.S.

We are accountable to the children we serve AND to our donors.
Our accountability to our donors is one of our highest priorities. Our goal is to use the funds entrusted to us as wise stewards. To do this requires continued monitoring of our fund distribution. OneChild is also a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)
