The Assemblies of God partnership with OneChild is built on a shared vision to transform children’s lives across the globe. Because together, we’re bringing kids vital care and the hope of Jesus!

Did you know that Assemblies of God missionaries helped launch the ministry of OneChild?

In 1954, passionate missionaries moved to Calcutta, India, to plant churches. But they realized that many children in the city lived in desperate poverty. In 1964, they opened their first school where kids received food, medical checkups, education, and the opportunity to learn about Jesus. Over the years, the ministry expanded and grew into OneChild.

More than 5,000 Assembly of God churches have partnered with OneChild to bring hope to children around the world. Faithful sponsors from these churches have helped nearly 175,000 children since 1980 alone!

You are invited to join us as we celebrate the extraordinary history between the Assemblies of God and OneChild. We’d love to help you explore your vision and create a customized plan for your church!

Our incredible team of Engagement Leads is relationally minded and ready to walk with you every
step of the way in partnership. Each Lead is passionate about the local church and the mission
of reaching kids in hard places.

To connect with an Engagement Lead, fill out the “Start the Conversation” form.

Once connected to an Engagement Lead, together, we will select a specific part of the world
for your partnership.

Our team will work with you to select a date that fits your church calendar most effectively to
host OneChild at your church for a sponsorship service.

From series ideas to the time of year to the launch setup — we will walk with you through the
process to secure a date that sees the most kids sponsored!


Launching our partnership feels like a party! On this exciting day, your church members will be
invited into partnership with OneChild by sponsoring a child.


After your church launch, there are various ways your church can continue to engage in
partnership by participating in OneChild’s sustainable development work through prayer, letter
writing, trips, projects and more!


When an Assemblies of God missionary partners with OneChild to open a floating school on Tonlé Sap Lake in Cambodia — the only school in the village — children’s lives are transformed. Be inspired by this powerful story and see the difference we can make together!
